PrintSync is more than just MFD`s, print and document management. It has always been important for Sean Tilbrook and the team at PrintSync to give something back to the local community. When we heard that local Bunbury athlete Alice Rotheram had been selected for the Australian Country Women`s water polo team to travel to Hawaii in August – we had to chip in and help her on her way. `Water Polo is a low profile sport with very little funding and recognition but if you play – it is a sport for life` Alice Says. The trip to Hawaii is an amazing opportunity for Alice to improve her skills and experience which later on will benefit both at the club and community level for the Bunbury Water Polo Association.
Alice, now 26, has played water polo since she was 13 years young. She is currently the Vice President of the local Bunbury club and she has a keen interest in motivating other young women into living healthy lifestyles with Water Polo. The upcoming trip to Hawaii is her second time representing Australian Country and she is looking forward to giving it her best together with her team mates selected from all over Australia.
` Playing water polo is more than mouth guards and being tough in the water. It is about the friendships, the achievements and the pride you feel when you represent a team at any level whether it be Club, State or National. ` Alice says.
The Hawaiian Invitational Water Polo Tournament takes place on August 4-10th 2014. Over 100 teams from all over the globe are invited to participate and Alice is expecting some tough competition. Sean and everyone at PrintSync wishes Alice and her team all the best and good luck.
